Portents, Omens and Dooms is one of the most awesome doom metal albums I've heard in quite some time. These guys (and gal) are intent on keeping it old school and... well, doomy as hell. From the immediate onset of the first song, your head will be banging and your air guitar will be shredding, all of which will continue for the entire length of the album. The vocals are definitely a highlight here, bringing a charismatic, theatrical touch the the awesome occult lyrics, and the riffs themselves are a force to be reckoned with. This is an absolute must-have for fans of old-school doom.
